1. Who is responsible for your data

Studio RYST is operated by Dreamour Multiventures, Chennai, which is the data fiduciary (controller) for personal data collected through studio.ryst.in, our WhatsApp and phone enquiries, and our bookings. Contact details and our Grievance Officer are in section 13.

2. What we collect

You give us: your name, phone number, email, company or brand name, GST number and billing address if you want them on your invoice, the room, date and hours you want, messages you send us, how you heard about us, and any feedback or review you leave.
Payments: Razorpay handles your card, UPI or wallet details; we never receive them. We receive the amount, a payment reference and the status.
Automatically, only if you accept analytics: pages visited, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location and a truncated IP address, through Google Analytics. Nothing is collected until you accept in the cookie bar.
On the day: with your agreement, behind-the-scenes photographs or video in which you may appear (see our Terms, section 6).

3. Why we use it, and the legal basis

To prepare your quote, confirm and run your booking, issue invoices and take payment — to perform our contract with you.
To keep tax and accounting records — a legal obligation under Indian GST and income-tax law.
To answer enquiries, send booking reminders and ask for feedback after a session — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the studio, or your consent where the law requires it.
To understand how the website is used (analytics) and to use behind-the-scenes material — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

4. Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics is switched off until you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie bar. You can change your choice any time from "Cookie choices" in the footer of every page.
We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Essential storage, which needs no consent: your cookie choice; for the length of one browser tab, which site sent you here (Instagram, Google Maps or Google search) so the booking form can pre-fill "How did you hear about us?"; and the sign-in of our staff.
Razorpay's checkout is loaded only at the moment you choose to pay, never before; Razorpay may then set its own cookies for fraud prevention, under its privacy policy. Fonts, scripts and images on this site are served by us, not by third-party networks.

5. Who we share it with

Razorpay (payments, India).
Google: Analytics, only if you accept it; Google Calendar, where our team keeps the studio schedule (your name and session time); Google Maps/Places, to show our public reviews.
Meta (WhatsApp), when you message us or we message you there.
Supabase (database hosting, Mumbai, India), Render (our server, United States) and GitHub (backups, United States), which store our booking records on our behalf.
Telegram, which delivers booking alerts to our own staff (your name and the session summary).
Our accountants, and authorities or courts when the law requires it.

Each provider acts on our instructions under its own data-processing terms, and may use the data only to provide its service to us.

6. Where your data is kept

Your data is stored primarily in India. Some providers listed above are in the United States; for visitors from the EU or UK, those transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards. You can ask us for details.

7. How long we keep it

Quotes, bookings, invoices and payment records: 8 years, as Indian tax and accounting rules require.
Enquiries that do not become a booking, and WhatsApp conversations: up to 24 months.
Analytics data: up to 14 months, in aggregate form.
Behind-the-scenes photographs and video: until you ask us to remove them.

8. Security

Booking and customer records are encrypted at rest, access is limited to our staff by individual sign-in, and payments are handled entirely by Razorpay. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it (unless we must keep it for tax or legal reasons), or stop using it; you can withdraw any consent you have given; and you can complain to us or to the regulator in your country.

India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023): access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, nominating someone to act for you, and the right to raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer, then with the Data Protection Board of India.
EU and UK (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do neither.

To use any of these, email info@dreamour.in. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we reply within 30 days.

10. Children

The studio and this website are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

Links to Instagram, Google Maps, WhatsApp and other services take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies.

12. Changes

We will post any change here with a new effective date, and tell you directly if the change matters to a booking you already have.
